Recently, the actor Jiří Krampol spends more time in the hospital than at home. Until now he was unwilling to slow down his work pace, but now that has changed. “My health condition is so complicated that doctors have advised me to withdraw and not work,” he confided to the newspaper Aha! an actor with the fact that he won’t be completely out of work after all.
“Maybe still loading books and something like that, but I’m definitely not going anywhere anymore,” Krampol assures his fans. The medical staff who care for him selflessly, but also his ex-wife Marta, for the sake of his health, were able to bring him to the idea of living in a place where medical and social services would be at hand.
“Fortunately, we found a common ground with the social worker at the Na Františku Hospital. Above all, we wanted Jirka to have a dignified home and life. And we really found it right in Jirka’s beloved Prague 1,” revealed Krampol’s third wife Marta. And the actor himself recognized that it is high time to accept the offered help.
“I will soon be eighty-six years old, it’s no shame,” stated Krampol. “Lying for long days in the hospital is a pain in the ass, simply endless. I will have someone to talk to at home and they will take care of me, which I no longer give myself,” he added in conclusion.
