JFF+ Independent Cinema – Japan Foundation in Mexico

The Independent Japanese Film Festival from December 15, 2022 to June 15, 2023

The Japan Foundation is pleased to announce the new free online Japanese Independent Cinema Festival “JFF + Independent Cinema”, featuring 12 independent films from Japan. All selected by the managers of the so-called Japanese “mini theatres”, spaces that host independent works and which feed the diversity of Japanese film culture. The festival will last 6 months, from 15 December 2022 to 15 June 2023, and will be divided into 2 stages each with 6 films available, which you can enjoy, upon registration, at this link: https://jff.jpf.go.jp/watch/independent-cinema/

Phase 1 films / From December 15, 2022 to March 15, 2023):
