They were traveling to the Netherlands laden with nearly 4.5 kilos of gold jewelry. Or a value of around 250,000 euros. Four members of the same family were arrested on Tuesday June 21 in Thun-l’Évêque, a small town in the north of France, as they were heading for Belgium. In total, seven people will be placed in police custody for concealment in an organized gang, participation in a criminal association and aggravated money laundering. Two days later, five of them will be remanded in custody.
