Jesús de la Esperanza donates two paintings to the church of San Nicolás de Bari

The Brotherhood of Nuestro Padre Jesús de la Esperanza, with canonical headquarters in the parish of San Nicolás de Bari and processional headquarters in the church of San Antonio, has donated “two beautiful paintings” representative of our Holy Week that can already be seen in the antecristy

The aforementioned brotherhood was founded in 1997 in the church of the Fathers –today, San Antonio de Padua–. He recovered the Borriquilla procession on the morning of Palm Sunday, April 5, 1998. In 1999 he incorporated the Christ of the Agony into the Holy Burial procession on Good Friday. It has never stopped growing.

The collective will celebrate its 25th anniversary around November 22, a date that coincides with the founding of the brotherhood. The entity will promote an exhibition of photos and ornaments and will publish a magazine to celebrate its first quarter century of processions.
