Jessica Simpson (42) has long since settled down with a husband and three children. She nevertheless lived a wild life before she met her husband Eric Johnson (43), a life she now looks back on.
It is in Amazon’s “Movie Star: They Always Say They’re Single” that the pop singer shares openly about the past, including a romance that arose in the early 2000s.

According to Simpson, she met what she describes as a movie star during MTV’s VMA awards in 2001. The 42-year-old does not name the person, who she says “undressed her with his eyes” at the first meeting.
Simpson at the time had a break in the relationship with ex-husband Nick Lachey (49)she says, according to ET. However, she did not want to date anyone else. The story nevertheless has a continuation, as she is said to have once again encountered this mysterious man. This time they mixed up numbers.
Soon after, however, she and Nick Lachey were reunited. Later they married and were together until 2006.

After the breakup, Simpson and this mysterious movie star reconnected, reportedly kissing at the Beverly Hills Hotel.
However, a picture of him and his girlfriend at the time made her end things. The person then allegedly assured Simpson that he was single, and that she was all he wanted.
– I would never in my life want to be the other woman, she states.
She still ended up believing him, which led to several hotel visits and confidential conversations. However, she felt that he only wanted her for sex, and eventually she also realized that he was sneaking her around to hide her from her boyfriend.
– I didn’t care that he was my teenage dream come true. This was not a choice the same girl, meaning the younger me, would have been proud of.

– I was so embarrassed by my own body that I didn’t let my husband see me without a white t-shirt on. I had sex with it on. I even showered with it on. I couldn’t look at myself, she admits in the book, according to Radar Online.
In retrospect, she has told that she has lost 45 kilos – three times.
“I’ve gained and lost 45kg 3 times so I never thought this moment could or would happen, but I finally took a proper ‘spring break’ in a BIKINI!!!!!!,” she wrote in the caption, and continued:
“Hard work. Determination. Selfishness. I cried with pride today”.
