Regarding Top Gun 3,bruckheimer revealed that discussions are ongoing with both Tom cruise and writers to develop a compelling narrative. “tom is really excited about it,” he said. “We’ve been talking about it,and we’re trying to figure out a way to make it work.” The success of Top Gun: Maverick in 2022, which grossed over $1.48 billion globally, has fueled demand for a third installment.
National treasure 3 is also in development, with Bruckheimer confirming that Nicolas Cage is set to reprise his role as Benjamin Franklin Gates. He noted that the script is being refined and that the team is aiming to begin production within the next year. “We’re working on the script, and Nic is very excited to do it,” Bruckheimer shared.
