Jeremy renner, recovering from a severe snowplow accident in early 2023 that left him with over 30 broken bones, has stated he is now performing at a level exceeding his pre-incident capabilities. “I’m more than 150 per cent of what I was prior to the incident,” Renner told Empire, crediting his focus on health and wellness for his recovery. Despite ongoing challenges with tendons and limitations in flexibility and mobility, he expressed that the experience has motivated him to become stronger.
In related news, Renner recently confirmed that he declined a second season of the Disney+ series Hawkeye due to a significantly reduced salary offer. The actor revealed that he was offered half the pay he received for the first season. “They asked me to do Season 2, and they offered me half the money,” Renner stated, explaining that the reduced compensation, coupled with the extensive time commitment required, made the offer unappealing.
