Most of the time in Hollywood, when a celebrity becomes infatuated with an accessory like a fashionable handbag or pair of sunglasses, it spreads like wildfire. After all, this is the essence of fashion. This is also a phenomenon that we have noticed in recent weeks across the Atlantic. Several of the biggest stars in sharp style flocked to the new Louis Vuitton handbag. It was during the parade last October presenting the spring-summer 2021 collection that the famous Louis Vuitton Cushion was unveiled. On the catwalk, the bag had caused a sensation by being available in several sizes, garish colors and different textures. From then on, the phenomenon started and it was only a matter of time before fashionable girls all over the world snapped up.
It was therefore the professional trend scout – and incidentally one of the most prolific popstars of the decade – Dua Lipa who first smelled the potential of the Cushion. The interpreter of “Physical” favored the green version for a successful look. Likewise for Selena Gomez. The ex-teen star was seen on the set of his next series “Only murders in the building” in a bewitching black coat enhanced by the famous luxury cushion. But the other owners of the ultimate accessory preferred its much more sober (or more chic) version: black, of course. Jennifer Aniston, Sophie Turner and Camila Morone have appropriated it, sometimes in a day version with jeans, sneakers and sweatshirt, sometimes a slightly more sophisticated version with a blazer and a pair of heels. The advantage of the Cushion is that it can radiate any outfit.
