If it had been up to Jelle Cleymans himself, he would now be teaching history in some school. Unfortunately for him, Gert Verhulst crossed his path and he became – in that order – the face of Spring, Ketnet wrapper, actor, musical person and singer. The latter is what he really wants. With own songs, without too many frills. Because, he says, he is now a 36-year-old man with a will. Still rosy, still smiling broadly at the world. And with a somewhat quirky take on love. “My new partner will have to live with what Katrien and I have together.”
