The richest man in the world has never been so rich. The fortune of Jeff Bezos reached 202 billion dollars (or 170 billion euros), according to the ranking Bloomberg Billionaires. Amazon stock rose 2% on Wednesday afternoon, directly impacting the fortune of its 56-year-old founder.
Jeff Bezos is the first person in the world to reach such a figure. It far exceeds – by 78 billion dollars – the creator of Windows, Bill Gates, who currently holds 124 billion dollars. Mark Zuckerberg, creator of Facebook, is third on the podium of the richest people with a fortune of $ 115 billion.

The Amazon boss would be even richer if he hadn’t divorced his wife, MacKenzie Scott, last July. This is the most expensive divorce in history since he had sold 25% of his shares to his ex-girlfriend. Even donating 1.7 billion to charity, MacKenzie Scott is the thirteenth richest person in the world ($ 66.2 billion) and the second woman, behind the last heiress of L’Oreal, Françoise Bettencourt Meyers.
