JCI rebounded, these stocks were sought after by foreigners in the first session, Tuesday (6/4)

KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) turned stronger in trading this afternoon. Citing RTI data, Tuesday (6/4), the JCI rallied 0.44% or 26.15 points to the level of 5,996.44 in trading session I.

The strengthening of the JCI was sustained by increases in nine out of 10 sectors. An increase in the mining sector 1.31%, 0.74% basic industry and 0.72% trade supported the JCI in the green zone. Only one sector is in the red zone, namely consumer goods which is down 0.14%.

The total volume of stock trading on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) this afternoon reached 11.17 billion shares with a total transaction value of Rp 5.47 trillion. There were 275 stocks that rose, 178 stocks that fell and 176 stocks whose value did not change.

Although the JCI strengthened, foreign investors registered net sell IDR 121.56 billion in all markets, while foreign regular markets also recorded net sell amounting to Rp. 77.10 billion.

Foreign investors posted net buy the largest share of PT Vale Indonesia Tbk (INCO) IDR 12.3 billion. INCO’s shares also shot 3.61% to IDR 4,590 per share. INCO’s share trading volume reached 19.3 million with a transaction value of IDR 88.4 billion.

Foreigners are also hunting for shares of PT PP (Persero) Tbk (PTPP) amounting to Rp. 11.7 billion. PTPP shares also rose 1.56% to Rp 1,300 per share. PTPP’s share sales volume reached 40.7 million with a transaction value of Rp 51.4 billion.

Shares of PT Wijaya Karya Tbk (LANGUAGE) was also bought by foreigners amounting to Rp. 11.5 billion. WIKA’s shares rose 0.70% to IDR 1,440 per share. WIKA’s share trading volume reaches 50 million with a transaction value of IDR 70.5 billion.
