JCI is predicted to continue strengthening, these three stocks will increase

KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) closed in the green zone during trading, Tuesday (13/10). JCI recorded a growth of 0.78% to the level of 5,132.57.

Quoting data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), the majority of sectors have strengthened today. The most significant strengthening was recorded by the financial sector up to 1.81%. After that followed by various industrial sectors up to 0.83%. There is also the basic industrial sector and chemicals which strengthened 0.56%.

Artha Sekuritas Indonesia analyst Dennies Christoper Jordan observed, the JCI closed higher after Bank Indonesia set the interest rate at 4% level. Market players consider this decision to be in line with steps to recover the national economy.

Dennies estimates, JCI strengthening will continue in trading tomorrow Wednesday (14/10). Technically, candlesticks are forming higher high and higher low indicates a trend bullish still strong.

“However, we need to be aware of the potential for profit taking in the short term,” he explained in a research received by Kontan.co.id, Tuesday (13/10).

Apart from being driven by the sentiment of the Bank Indonesia (BI) interest rate which was held at the 4% level, the JCI movement was also driven by the positive impact of the Omnibus Law Cipta Kerja on the economy.
