JCI is predicted to break the 6,000 level next year, these stocks can be observed

KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) in the last few days it has shown its sharpness perched at around 5,500, after touching the lowest level in March 2020 at around 3,900.

The strengthening of the JCI is predicted to continue until 2021.

Philip Sekuritas analyst Anugerah Zamzami Nasr predicts the JCI will touch 5,800 levels. The basic predictions for the JCI by the end of 2020 will be in the range of 5,400-5,550. However, if there is a positive catalyst from net inflow rapid progress and news on vaccine production or distribution, then the JCI has the opportunity to touch 5,700 – 5,800.

Zamzami predicted that market optimism will continue until next year. “The market is filled with optimism about opportunities net foreign inflow and the effectiveness of the Covid-19 vaccine, which means there will be a gradual economic recovery. Currently it is expected to start recovery economy or business cycle, “he explained, Wednesday (18/11).

Zamzami has yet to set an exact figure for next year’s JCI target, but with this optimism, the JCI is predicted to touch more than 6,000.

For recommendations, Zamzami recommended the banking, pharmaceutical and consumer sectors in accordance with the theme of vaccines and gradual economic improvement. In addition, sectors that are influenced by cycles such as agribusiness can be considered with the seasonal increase in demand at the end of the year. Property is also advised with the opening of the economy.
