JCI has the opportunity to weaken, pay close attention to stock recommendations for today (22/1)

KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. The Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) is predicted to continue weakening in today’s trading. As is known, the JCI closed down 15.87 points or 0.25% to the level of 6,413.89 on Thursday (21/1).

Artha Sekuritas Indonesia analyst Dennies Christoper Jordan said the JCI would weaken again. Remember technically candlestick forming long black body indicates potential weakness.

On the other hand, negative sentiment for the JCI came from within the country, namely after the government extended the enforcement of restrictions on community activities (PPKM) until February 8.

“Movements will be limited due to concerns over the extension of PPKM in Indonesia. Investors will also pay close attention to some economic data,” he said in a research received by Kontan.co.id, Thursday (21/1).

The JCI is expected to move with support levels of 6,373 to 6,333. Meanwhile, resistance levels are at 6,478 to 6,543.

Amid the JCI which is predicted to move lower, analysts are looking at the following stocks:

  • PT Astra International Tbk (ASII). Still moving in a short-term consolidation trend. Still has the potential to strengthen in the medium term. Investors are advised to enter at a price of Rp.6,600 to Rp. 6,700. Stop loss at IDR 6,550. The target price is IDR 6,900 to IDR 7,000
  • PT Sarana Menara Nusantara Tbk (TOWR). Technically, Candlestick forming higher high and higher low and breakout resistance. Entry level, target harga, stop loss improved. Analysts advise investors to enter the price of Rp. 1,020 to Rp. 1,040. Stop loss at IDR 1,000. The target price is pegged at 1,080 to 1,100.
  • PT PP Tbk (PTPP). PTPP shares rose after rebound of area support. Analysts suggest entering at a price of IDR 2,050 to IDR 2,100. Stop loss at Rp. 2,020. The target price is set at Rp. 2,150 to Rp. 2,200.
