KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) slumped in today’s trading. Tuesday (22/12), IHSG fell 142.34 or 2.31% to 6,023.29 at the end of trading on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).
All sectoral indexes fell along with the JCI. The infrastructure sector fell 3.84%. The mining sector slumped 3.39%. The plantation sector fell 2.95%. Trade and services sector fell 2.84%. The basic industrial sector fell 2.56%.
The financial sector eroded 2.08%. The construction and property sectors fell 1.92%. The manufacturing sector fell 1.69%. Miscellaneous industrial sector fell 0.96% and consumer goods sector fell 1.29%.
The total volume of stock exchange transactions reached 28.11 billion shares with a transaction value of Rp 20.82 trillion. A total of 397 shares fell in price. There are 123 stocks that rose. Meanwhile, 111 shares were flat.

The top losers for LQ45 today are:
- PT Wijaya Karya Tbk (LANGUAGE) -6,97%
- PT Surya Citra Media Tbk (SCMA) -6,90%
- PT Erajaya Swasembada Tbk (ERAA) -6,88%
Only shares of PT Mitra Keluarga Kary Advisor Tbk (MIKA) which strengthened in the ranks of the LQ45 index. MIKA’s share price rose 4.53%.
Foreign investors recorded a net sell of IDR 338.09 billion in all markets. The stocks with the largest foreign net sales are PT Bank Mandiri Tbk (BMRI) IDR 162.9 billion, PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk (ICBP) IDR 70.3 billion, and PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk (INDF) IDR 63.3 billion.
The stocks with the largest foreign net purchases are PT Sinar Mas Multiartha Tbk (SMMA) IDR 248 billion, PT Astra International Tbk (ASII) IDR 162.6 billion, and PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) IDR 69.2 billion.
