Jarny. Summer Sundays at Moncel: space for Metz-Nancy Quartet

Something to admire, something to let off steam and something to listen to. The third edition of Summer Sundays in Moncel, concocted by the municipality of Jarny, is faithful to the original triptych. The first visitors to the estate were able to see this on July 10.

A perfect first

Welcomed free of charge from 2:30 p.m., strollers were first able to enjoy a photo exhibition in the castle or demonstrations by the Jarnisy Modeling and Scientific Club. Then, the most determined were able to take action. USJ Volley handed them a ball and Jarny Sport Détente offered them some exercises on the park’s facilities. In another genre, Boris Bodz has made his paint sprays and his knowledge available to apprentice graffiti artists.

At 4 p.m., after a waffle or an ice cream, everyone took refuge in the shade of the trees to enjoy the Intempor’Elles concert. The journey into the past of French song has warmed hearts.

To be continued

This Sunday, July 17, the same formula will be offered. In addition to the activities of Jarny Sport Détente, the CMSJ, the USJ Volley and the graffiti artist, there will be Nordic and adapted walking (note: departure at 9 a.m.) and horse-drawn carriage rides in the park.

Stage side, change of register with Metz-Nancy Quartet.
