Japanese submarine 3 hours after crash… “I’m in an accident” on my cell phone

The Japanese Self-Defense Forces submarine was hitting a large merchant ship while rising above the water. In the process, communication equipment broke down, and three hours later, when I approached land, I barely reported it on my mobile phone.

Correspondent Yoon Seol-young reports.

It was around 11:00 am on the 8th that the latest Japanese submarine Soryu collided with a large 50,000-ton merchant ship.

A diver that adjusts the depth like a fish fin is broken like a cookie.

The bridge, the space to control the submarine, was also hollowed out.

After training, Soryu found a merchant ship with a periscope while coming out of the water, but he couldn’t escape and crashed.

It was a dizzying moment that would lead to a major casualty if we approached a few more meters.

Due to an absurd accident, Soryu’s communication equipment was broken and his contact was lost for over 3 hours.

It was only after approaching land in search of cell phone radio waves that the headquarters was notified of the accident.

The Ministry of Defense said it would consider deploying satellite phones so that communication equipment could be contacted even if they fail.
