The Japanese Ministry of Health announced today, Tuesday, that a man in his sixties from Nara district, had contracted the new coronavirus, although he had not visited China before.
The ministry quoted the ministry as saying that the man had driven a bus with Chinese tourists from Wuhan, China twice this month.
The ministry explained that this is the first confirmed case of HIV infection for a person without visiting China.
The ministry indicated that it recorded six cases of the virus.
The Japanese government announced that it would send a plane to Wuhan, central China, later in the day to return about 200 Japanese citizens there, amid the outbreak of the Corona virus.
The Ministry of Health stated that the government will send doctors, nurses and quarantine officials to these Japanese citizens for medical examinations on board.
Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Motegi said the plane was scheduled to return to Japan on Wednesday.
