One of his biggest commercial successes was the 1982 release of his first exercise video, Jane Fonda’s Workout, which sold 17 million copies and became one of the most successful shows of its format.
Fonda has also been known for expressing her political positions: protesting the Vietnam War, campaigning for civil rights and advocating for feminist causes. Currently, Fonda leads Fire Drill Fridays as part of a national movement to raise awareness about the climate crisis.
