The Chorale de Roanne signed until the end of the season the American winger Jamel Artis (2,01m, 27 years old) who was last season in Boulogne-Levallois.
Under the Metropolitans 92 jersey, in a Jeep Elite, Artis split 13.3 points to 46.5% on shots, 4.1 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 27 minutes. He started the season at Juventus Utena in Lithuania with significantly lower stats: 6.3 points and 3.7 rebounds for 5.7 evaluation.
“He will be with us for the resumption of training on December 29,” comments coach Jean-Denys Choulet. “He shoots very well and knows how to play post-up very well. We are sometimes in difficulty on station 2 but especially on station 4, and Jamel has the qualities to cover all these functions. This is the Swiss Army Knife I was looking for. ” The Choir now has 5 Americans. “The less deserving will go to the gallery at first, and we will move towards another more radical solution if that continues.”
