Jaime Nebot says that the Barcelona audit has the permits to be presented to the public

The last audit which was made to the accounts of Barcelona, reported on accumulated debts of USD 51.6 million. Jaime Nebot, president for life of the club, asked that the details of the document be presented to members, fans and journalists.

“The owners of the audit are the partners that we hired, we also did it by demanding that the company make the data public and they accepted it,” he explained. Nebot, in an interview with Radio Caravana.

In addition to Nebot, the study carried out by the PKF company, was financed by ex-leaders like Isidro Romero, Julio Jurado, Santiago Salem… The document has 68 pages, divided into 16 sections.

Nebot avoided talking about the amount that reflects the auditHe said that this corresponds to the leaders. However, he clarified that the document is reliable, due to the detailed study of the club’s accounts.

The audit reviewed the accounts from the 2016 to September 2019. However, it was explained that it contains information prior to the start date, thanks to the comparison with other studies previously carried out.

“It is not a matter of saying that a directive received the club with a debt ‘X’ and gave it with an amount ‘Y’. It is about reviewing all the money that entered the club during that time,” he explained. Nebot, this May 28.
