Regensburg – SSV Jahn Regensburg has loaned winger Lasse Günther from FC Augsburg until the end of this season.
The 19-year-old still has a contract with the Bundesliga club until June 30, 2025. Günther had missed most of the pre-season at FCA due to an injury.
“For a young player like Lasse, match practice at a high level is particularly important for development. That’s why we see the loan to Regensburg as the optimal step for him to develop further through a lot of match practice and to exploit his potential,” said Augsburg’s managing director Stefan Reuter.
