Unemployed since the end of his mission as French XV coach at the end of the 2019 World Cup, Jacques Brunel (66) joined the Italian club Valorugby Emilia (Top 12) as a technical advisor. He will be on the training ground this Monday with his new club.
The Gersois knows Italy well for having led the azzuri selection between 2011 and 2016.
At Valorugby Emilia, Jacques Brunel joins Roberto Manghi, club technical director and longtime friend, as well as assistant coach Williami Vaki, whom he had as a player when he was manager of Perpignan (2007–2011).
