I’ve been in Kopassus for too long

Jakarta

Meeting at DPR RI was colored by the protests of members of the DPR against the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, who called it a lack of smiles. Luhut said that he did not smile because he had served in the elite troops for too long.

The protest by members of the DPR occurred during the Banggar DPR RI meeting at the parliament complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Thursday (9/6/2022). Banggar Agung member Widyantoro initially appreciated Luhut’s performance.

“I may say a little message, sir, not because of the workload and this wide span of control, so you don’t smile much like that,” said Agung, greeted with laughter from the meeting participants.

In the appreciation that was inserted in the protest, Agung admitted that he looked down at Luhut. Because, according to Agung, Luhut’s presentation was full of enthusiasm but lacked a smile.

“From the start I have, my guts have shrunk, sir. I was going to ask, but you don’t smile, from the start you have injected gas fast very. How How do I enter those spaces,” said Agung.

Hearing the Great protest, Luhut immediately say thank you. Luhut also told why he didn’t smile at the meeting.

“Sir, I’m sorry, that’s always been the case, sir. I’ve been in Kopassus for too long, so I can’t smile,” said Luhut.

Not only Agung, Luhut’s wife was also told to protest because Luhut did not smile. Luhut admits that he doesn’t smile often.

“So now make her smile sometimes, yes. I am criticized by my wife too, sir. Thank you,” he added.
