Ita Airways, the new planes: blue and tricolor livery. But for now the Alitalia brand remains

On the day the new airline began flying, the aircraft’s name, logo and colors were presented at a press conference. “This aircraft does not yet exist, it will exist very soon, in the coming months”, explained marketing director Giovanni Perosino. Until then, aircraft and Alitalia logos will remain. Ita therefore bought the brand of the old company, not to reuse it as it was but to prevent it from being bought by others.
