The British “Financial Times” quoted sources as saying that Ma Yun had been living in central Tokyo, Japan, for nearly six months, and kept a low profile in the local area, trying not to participate in public activities. Only his family, a few bodyguards and chefs accompanied him. His social activities are dominated by a handful of private clubs, one in the heart of Tokyo’s Ginza district and another in the Marunouchi financial district.
The report said Ma Yun travels regularly between the United States and Israel, but it is not known whether he emigrated overseas or is just involved in business.
