Naya’s body was found in Lake Piru on July 13. The Gleeactress had disappeared without a trace for five days. Her son Josey was found in the rented boat and was returned to his father Ryan. The American authorities assume that Naya managed to save her child by pushing him onto the boat, but lost her energy and was dragged into the water. Josey would be doing ‘better’ by now.

According to sources of Entertainment Tonight Josey is recovering, but is ‘every day a little better’ for him. “It has been a very difficult time for Naya’s family and friends,” said the initiate. Josey is now full time with his father Ryan. “Josey is the only important thing for Ryan at the moment. He is still mourning and struggling with the loss, but he’s holding on and going on for the sake of his son.”
