It became known when a new generation of Chevrolet Niva – Motor

According to reports, AvtoVAZ entered into a ten-year deal with the Croatian AD Plastik Group for the supply of components for the future Lada Niva in the amount of 58,000,000 euros (approximately 4.5 billion rubles at the current exchange rate). The company will manufacture various external components for the model, including front and rear bumper skirts, wheel arch housings, shock absorbers, rear wing protectors, as well as side covers and grilles.

The new model will be produced at the car factory in Tolyatti, and it will radically differ from the existing version of the SUV, produced for almost 17 years. The first cars should appear in 2023. AvtoVAZ did not confirm the information of the Croatian company, but did not refute it either.

Previously, cars were produced under the name Chevrolet Niva in conjunction with General Motors. However, at the end of 2019, AvtoVAZ bought 50 percent of the shares from GM and became the full owner of the Niva brand. Now the model will be sold under the name Lada Niva.
