It appears that Gigabyte RTX 4090 Gaming OC is already on sale in China, two weeks before the official launch

Likhg user bought a video card Gigabyte RTX 4090 Gaming OC more than two weeks before the official release on 12 October. These graphics cards don’t go on sale that quickly, which could be proof that the board partners have a large stock of cards for buyers.

Partners have just started shipping RTX 4090 test units, which should be available for reviewers very soon. According to the data, some have already received the cards, including the Founders Edition. The interesting thing is that neither reviewers nor early buyers will be able to use these graphics cards.

NVIDIA has not yet been released driver, providing full functionality and performance for new graphics cards. It won’t be issued at all until October 12, when the card is officially released. If you buy this card now, without this driver there is no chance it will work. This driver will be available for printing later this week.

The Gigabyte RTX 4090 Gaming OC features a power supply with four 8-pin and one 16-pin connectors that provide over 450W of power. The RTX 4090 features an AD102 GPU with 16384 CUDA cores and 24GB of GDDR6X memory. The new card uses NVIDIA Ada Lovelace architecture based on TSMC 4N process technology.

The estimated price for the graphics card is now said to be HKK 20,000, or 2 548 $ 1,000 more than the manufacturer’s suggested retail price.
