Israeli Singer Omer Adam Drops New Album “Sof Haolam” Featuring Top Collaborations

tv-running="true">

The successful Israeli singer Omer Adam releases a new album this Thursday entitled “Sof haolam” (End of the world). The album features 18 tracks he worked on with the hottest names in Israeli music at the moment. He has notably collaborated with Ron Biton, Odeya, Doli & Penn, Yinon Yahel, and Avi Ohayon. But one of the most interesting collaborations is that with David Broza, with whom he took over the latter’s hit song, “Sigaliyot” (Violettes) released in 1993.

Omer Adam worked on the album both in Israel and abroad, notably in Dubai where he had settled, and in the United States. He brought to these countries the artists who participated in this new album, which he describes as “open, personal and eclectic”.

After a period full of upheavals in his career, especially around a performance of only 58 minutes at Hayarkon Park, which aroused the anger of his fans and a request for compensation, Omer Adam had taken the decision to take a break from his career.

With his girlfriend, model Yael Shelbia, he had gone into exile in Dubai for six monthsbefore return to Israel recently, declaring that he missed the country. Last December he released the single “Ani” (Me), which is part of the new album in which he sings “I’m not leaving, I’m not running away, I’m going to find my soul, maybe I will come back much happier”.
