TEL AVIV – Late last year, Israel set aside a special $1.5 billion (Rp21.5 trillion) of the $19.2 billion (Rp275 trillion) defense budget to prepare for a possible attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities.

Tehran warned Tel Aviv should instead set aside “tens of thousands of billions of dollars” to repair the damage caused by Iran’s “staggering response” to any aggression by Israel.

Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett admitted his party was in the midst of the biggest arms campaign in years, and was forced to face threats posed by Iran and its proxies 24 hours a day.
