Isn’t ‘Tenet’ a sequel to ‘Inception’?

John David Washington plays the lead role in Tenet and previously announced that the film is not a sequel to Inception. Still, many fans insisted, but a new detail seems to invalidate the popular fan theory for good.Michael Caine, appearing in no less than 8 films by Christopher Nolan has not surprisingly managed to find a role again in the director’s new project. The 87-year-old actor also features in the trailer, and some expect him to reprise his Inception character, Professor Stephen Miles.

Warner Bros. recently revealed that Caine’s character will be called Sir Michael Crosby, a British secret agent. Caine had previously said that she knew little about the film, as the actor was only on the set for a single day, although this was for an important scene that also involved Washington.
