Ismail Youssef, a member of the Zamalek Board of Directors, confirmed that the club is with any decision for the state, but there is a great difficulty in completing the Egyptian WE League.
Tigana added, in statements to OnTime Sports 2, that the cancellation decision should not be followed by a champion’s announcement: “Border guards were the leaders of the league in the canceled 2011 season and did not crown its time in the league.”
On the issue of the Century Club, a member of the Zamalek Council said: “We are preparing a large file for the issue of the Century Club. Murtada Mansour, the club president, instructed me and Ahmed Mortada, and Ahmed Jalal Ibrahim to finish the file within a month.”
A member of the Zamalek Council denied that there were any problems with the dues of players or employees.
He pointed out that Zamalek coach Patrice Carteron wants to stay with the team, noting that there is no crisis in the renewal with him.
He also praised the role of Amir Mortada, supervisor of the ball in the club, noting that crowning 5 championships in 14 months is an achievement for him.
He continued: “The conditions and atmosphere in Qatar before the African Super have created the atmosphere for crowning the title, as well as the reception of the fans to Zamalek in Cairo after the coronation of the African Super that caused the team to beat Al Ahly in the local super.”
