Pentagon pilots have encountered many unidentified flying objects, much more than they have told the public. That’s according to John Ratcliffe, a former director of national intelligence in the Trump administration.
Ratcliffe told Fox News that the upcoming Pentagon report on UFOs would contain more details about interactions with them than previously reported. “There are many more observations than those that have become public,” he was quoted as saying Dnes.bg. “Some of them are declassified. It is worth accepting Ratcliffe’s comments with a drop of doubt, but this report has been expected for months and it makes sense that it will include additional UFO sightings.
Last year, the U.S. Navy released official versions of leaked videos showing Navy pilots interacting with what Ratcliffe calls UFOs.
“In short, the things we observe are difficult to explain. There are a lot of them. I think this information is being collected and disseminated in a way that the American public can see,” he said.
It is possible that most, if not all, of these UFOs can be explained by gas, reflections, tricks of light and particles in electronic sensors. “When we see these things, we are always looking for a plausible explanation. The weather can cause disturbances, visual disturbances,” Ratcliffe said. “But there are cases where we don’t have good explanations for some of the things we’ve seen.”
Ratcliffe stressed that these observations are ubiquitous and do not have a clear model. “When we talk about observations, it’s not just a pilot or just a satellite, or just some collection of intelligence. We usually have a lot of sensors that capture these things,” he said. “They’re an inexplicable phenomenon and there’s a lot more to them than society knows.”
