Mohamed Adel Fathi, the supervisor of the Arab Contractors soccer team, denied entering Al Ahly club in negotiations with the management of “Mountain Wolves” to buy player Taher Mohamed Taher in the next transfer window.
The General Supervisor of the Contracting Team added in statements on Radio “On Sport” today, Wednesday: “It is reported that there are negotiations to include Tahir Muhammad Tahir to Al-Ahly to be an alternative to Ramadan Subhi is incorrect.”
He continued: “What we know very well about Al-Ahly is if he wants to include any player from our team so negotiations will be in a direct way, what is said by agents from players.”
He continued: “Our goal is for Taher to have a professional experience in Europe.”
The 23-year-old had a professional experience in France, particularly with Le Havre, where he played on loan in a season (2016-2017).
Asked about the position of Nigerian player Maarouf Youssef and his purchase of Zamalek permanently, he replied: “We are waiting until the end of the season to determine our position if we want to buy Maarouf Youssef from Zamalek or not.”
Marouf Youssef moved to the ranks of the Arab contractors early this season, coming from the Zamalek team on loan, to participate the 26-year-old in 16 games with the team “Wolves” to score a goal in the league and make two goals.
