Is Kanye West in Wijnegem? Teacher Peter ran into him during a walk: “It is rumored that he bought a loft here”

Teacher Peter Hoste says he met Kanye West at the Kanaal art gallery in Wijnegem, owned by interior designer and antiques and art dealer Axel Vervoordt. That could well be true, since West is a good friend of Vervoordt, who has also furnished his home in Calabasas, California.

Hoste tells his story on Radio 2 Antwerp. He was not very impressed by the meeting: “At the corner of the street my youngest dog jumped into a gentleman who was not too big. I apologized and the man replied in English. I asked him if he lives here, to which he looked surprised. He asked if I didn’t know him and he said he’s Kanye West.”
