Dr. Sherif Al-Anwari, Director of Abu Al-Rish Al-Munira Hospital in Kasr Al-Ainy, University of Cairo confirmed that the treatment of respiratory syncytial virus is done through certain drugs and it is not allowed to take antibiotics to deal with the virus except in one case, which is the sole presence of bacterial infection, and the presence of infection is discovered through testing.

Dr. Sherif Al-Anwari added to ‘The Seventh Day’ that syncytial virus treatment is mainly fever reducer, steam sessions and dilators for people, noting that most cases recover and need treatment at home without the need for hospitalization.
