During the last hours, information regarding a batch of $ 20,000 bills went viral through social networks and messaging.
The message ensures that every ticket that begins with “CF is false” because several of them allegedly had entered from Tacna.
In detail, this is information that a while ago had already been disseminated and which now re-emerged, the Central Bank indicated to BioBioChile.
Then, the issuing institute stressed that the content of that post is completely false.
“The Central Bank has not issued such information and its origin is unknown”he expressed.
The recommendation for people, he added, “is to review all the tickets received, regardless of their serial number. The tickets have a number of security features that allow to verify its authenticity ”.
