IRON MAIDEN launched a kit with him West Ham United football team in November 2019. Now, the Heavy Metal group and soccer club Steve Harris favorite have teamed up again and created a new line of sportswear.
New t-shirt and more clothing from IRON MAIDEN and West Ham United
The brand new English team jersey and new clothing designs have been re-created under the label “Die With Your Boots On”, the name of one of IRON MAIDEN’s classic tracks.
“Steve has partnered with West Ham to launch a new ‘Away Shirt’ & Training Range in the ‘Die With Your Boots On’ collection.”

Named for the 1983 song of the same name and powered by the West Ham follower and founding member of the band Steve Harris, this association brings together two institutions with shared origins in London’s East End.
Harris has been waving the West Ham flag on stage for decades, even displaying the club’s iconic logo on his bottom. His love for the Hammers dates back to 1965, when he recalls: “I went to see West Ham play Newcastle when I was 9, with a friend who was 10. We took a bus and went to the game. They won 4-3 and so on. It was all. I was hooked! “
Many MAIDEN fans around the world have embraced Harris’s passion for West Ham and supported the club itself, often appearing at concerts in Hammers clothing. Steve adds, “When I’m on stage and I see fans in the audience wearing gear, it gives me goose bumps.”
Tracey Stratton, West Ham’s licensing manager, was aware of the phenomenon. “One weekend last summer, our club shop was flooded with Rock fans from around the world, and we realized that IRON MAIDEN was playing two sold-out shows at the O2,” says Tracey. “It makes perfect sense to launch this collaboration, and with Steve’s passion for it and his attention to detail, it has been incredible.”
Harris is very proud of the link with West Ham and was deeply involved in the design process, commenting: “I think it’s brilliant. I really love that version and the color of the shield, and this old classic type kit. It’s modern but with a retro design, and I like that. Up the Irons! “
A complete kit will be available to fans around the world, who can now show their love for both institutions with a unique tribute. Steve presented the kit with West Ham and the Argentine defender Pablo Zabaleta, who added: “IRON MAIDEN is a huge icon in South America and it’s great for West Ham fans and the band to be able to show their support for both.”
