Vice-mayor of Khabarovsk, infected coronavirus, died at the age of 61, according to the message of the regional Ministry of Health. The report clarifies that Irina Shapiro, who served as vice mayor since 2018, died in hospital, death occurred against the background of bilateral pneumonia with 90 percent lung damage. The diagnosis of coronavirus is laboratory confirmed.
The date and place of farewell to Irina Shapiro will be announced later.
Head of the Department of Economic Development Alexander Anisimov has been appointed Acting First Deputy Mayor of Khabarovsk for Economic Affairs.
