iPhone SE Plus will only come in the second half of 2021

April 22, 2020 –
Instead of 2020 or early 2021, the expected larger edition of the iPhone SE should only appear in the second half of next year, reports analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.

The 2020 new edition of the iPhone SE, which essentially corresponds to an improved iPhone 8, can now be ordered and will be available soon. What some don’t know: Apple also wants to offer a variant with a larger screen, the iPhone SE Plus. It was originally supposed to appear this March or at the beginning of 2021 at the latest, but will only come in the second half of 2021, according to the usually well-informed analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.

The plus variant of the iPhone SE is according to the analysts specializing in Apple, YouTube and Twitterer Jon Prosser comes with the same A13 SoC and like the current SE also with 3 GB RAM. The screen will measure 5.5 inches diagonally, compared to the 4.7 inches of the small variant. The rest of the features should not differ, including the fingerprint scanner in the home button and water resistance according to IP67.
