Especially the oldest models, such as the first-generation iPhone, have some of the lowest SAR values ​​- at the ear and on the body. At that time, however, the measuring distance was 1.5 cm instead of 0.5 cm, as is currently the case. The latest models emit more electromagnetic radiation, but the values ​​are still not as high as in some previous models.

A comparison of old and new iPhones shows that the biggest culprits in radiation among Apple phones are the iPhone 7 and iPhone 8. However, they are not larger Plus models. These actually shine less than the basic models.
