A week after its presentation, the first units of the new iPhone 13 started to reach buyers. And as might be expected, “in the name of science”, people have already dismantled the equipment.
O youtuber WekiHome was the first to disassemble the iPhone 13 Pro, and reveal the secrets of Apple’s new smartphone. From battery capacity to 5G modem, everything is counted in the low video.
Battery capacity of iPhone 13 Pro is 3095mAh
As previously announced by Apple, the iPhone 13 Pro has a battery with greater capacity than its predecessor. The new model is presented in this disassembly with 3095mAh, compared to the 2815mAh of the iPhone 12 Pro.
The battery in question was produced by the Chinese company Sunwoda Electronic Co. It should be recalled that, according to Apple, this battery promises autonomy of another hour and a half compared to its predecessor.
In one of the first tests, made by Mrwhostheboss YouTube channel, the iPhone 13 Pro collected 8 hours and 17 minutes of autonomy. For example, the iPhone 12 managed 5 hours and 54 minutes in this same test.
The equipment also has a 5G modem called Qualcomm X60. The panel designed by Samsung debuts 120Hz on iPhone. The South Korean manufacturer is also the supplier of the equipment’s RAM modules.
As mentioned above, the iPhone 13 Pro has already started to reach the first buyers. The equipment is available in 128GB, 256GB, 512GB and 1TB storage versions. Its price starts at €1179 in Portugal.
