The public beta version is expected to be released in July.
Two weeks after the presentation of iOS 14 at the WWDC launch conference, Apple is releasing the second beta for developers. Members of the beta-testing program will have to wait a little longer before they can download the beta of iOS 14.
At the moment, it’s hard to say what this new beta brings. We will have to wait until the developers have looked into it to discover the new features. We can still imagine that it brings improvements to the many new features of iOS 14, fixes bugs and plugs security holes.
Remember that as a major update, iOS 14 introduces several new features including widgets, a new organization of applications, Picture-in-Picture, a native translation app or the App Clip. Find all the new features here.
In parallel, Apple has released the second beta of its other operating systems; iPadOS 14, watchOS 7, tvOS 14, macOS Big Sur. However, it will take a little longer to be able to take advantage of it. Public betas are slated to roll out in July. For the final version, we will have to wait until the fall of 2020.
