The American magazine Newsweek revealed that some of the chat groups on the social networking site Facebook, continue to publish a number of conspiracy theories about 5G technology and its role in the outbreak of the Corona virus, despite the measures taken by Facebook to counter these views.
And the information obtained by Newsweek found that there are groups calling for encroachment on the engineers of the 5G towers, and it also invites people to fight so that the towers are the starting site, and to fight all those who confront them.
Other groups were seen sharing tools to use to detect network sites as well as offices of those networks.
Facebook has taken measures to prevent this type of theory, after dozens of attacks in separate places in the United Kingdom, where a number of 5G network towers have been targeted, motivated by the spread of rumors claiming that the outbreak of the Corona virus resulting from the presence and use of 5G network towers.
Earlier, security officials in the Netherlands said that the operations of targeting 5G networks towers for telecommunications are increasing significantly. In only one week, the Netherlands witnessed four separate incidents of burning 5G network towers.
And recently, YouTube said that it will remove all videos bearing any content related to conspiracy theories or related to all misleading information that considers that the outbreak of corona virus originated from 5G networks.
The move comes after a report from the British Guardian newspaper confirming that the British Minister of Culture, Oliver Duden, will hold talks with Facebook, Twitter and YouTube in an attempt to remove all conspiracy theories related to 5G networks.
