The health expert commented that monthly breast self-examination should be carried out from the age of 20, preferably on the fifth day of menstruation.

Likewise, from the age of 34, a mammogram should be requested if the patient has a family history of the disease. If they are not available, it must be done every two years starting at age 40, and every year upon reaching 50 years of age.
