Invitation to the press conference: E-Sport Allianz Austria starts

Vienna (OTS) E-sports inspire millions of people worldwide and there are now more than 50,000 registered e-athletes in this country. In the last few months in particular, the importance of e-sports in Austria has risen sharply and new leagues, clubs and events have established themselves. E-sports are no longer a marginal phenomenon.

Under the motto “Together for e-sports”, the three largest players in the domestic industry – ESVÖ, the A1 eSports League Austria and the eBundesliga – are now presenting the E-Sport Alliance Austria in a virtual press conference with the aim of promoting the E -Sport in Austria to offer an independent stage.

In addition, the ESVÖ’s annual e-sports report and a new e-sports survey with the latest figures, data and facts about e-sports in Austria will be presented.

About the ESVÖ

The scope of the eSport Association Austria Since its foundation in 2007, has been to support electronic sport in all its areas, to make the best possible use of the available resources, to coordinate them and to represent measures in relation to society and politics. The eSport Association Austria assumes operational areas of responsibility at numerous major events of our partners and creates a uniform nationwide standard in Austria with the licensed referees. So far around 25 sports clubs have joined the ESVÖ. All officials of the eSport association work without financial compensation.
