This is a sprawling affair which, due to the spectacular escape of Carlos Ghosn, now a refugee in Lebanon, may never be tried. The public has a kaleidoscopic vision of it: extravagant compensation but for the most part never paid, a house in Beirut bought by Nissan but where the ex-CEO lives today, circuits with the appearance of retro-commissions, parties at the castle of Versailles, and even packets of crisps billed on a budget line with the appearance of a slush fund… There is everything in the Ghosn affair, where one often mixes morals, ethics and law.
