Subscription will be released today Xbox Game Pass Core. It will continue to provide the benefits that came with Xbox Live Gold, including the ability to play co-op with console multiplayer, special offers and discounts, and access to trials.
Gold or Ultimate subscribers don’t have to do anything – they’ll automatically upgrade to the new plan at $9.99 per month or $59.99 per year.
Xbox wanted to reimagine how they receive content, so Xbox Game Pass Core owners will get a launch collection of 36 select games. New ones will be added 2-3 times a year. However, players were warned that the library may change over time and depending on the country.
