Interview. Bruno Guillon: “I can’t wait to resume filming the ‘Z’amours'”

Laughs, lapses, stars who slip, candidates of the craziest games… The “Z’amours” host tell us more about this show.

Are you a “good audience” of blooper on TV?

With my son, for example, we know that we will always have a good time if we look at a blooper. But these programs only work from the moment there is a renewal of the images, but there, precisely, the production of our program has compiled images never or very little seen for 80% of them.

Are there “pearls” not to be missed?

Difficult to choose, but I can say that there will be beautiful pearls from Z’amours, which I present on France 2 ! There is something to do: the moment when the candidate forgets that he is on TV, the one who zaps his wedding date, another who answers a question but thinking of his ex, etc. This is what I like about animating Z’amours, it’s never the same, we are always surprised by the stories and the reactions of the candidates.

Precisely, will you be able to resume filming?

We were able to broadcast new games until the end of April, then we had best-of, but we should resume filming – and I’m looking forward to it – around May 25, the date I’m talking to you about. They will be broadcast three days after recording, because Z’amours is produced on a just-in-time basis, it’s a real war machine.

Since the confinement, your morning Bruno on the Radio, on Fun Radio, is live on W9 and you make it clear on the air that this is temporary …

Yes, so that people do not get used to it and because I am and remain a host of France Télévisions. The recording of my morning broadcast on W9 because Fun Radio is part of M6, it’s kind ofwar effort in an atypical context. And it will stop with the deconfinement.

You also had to shoot the new Intervilles for France 2…

It’s on hold as I speak to you. I have no information. Nagui, producer of this new version, really wanted to make a big barnum, with a gigantic filming place that could accommodate 5,000 to 10,000 spectators, an arena, I don’t see how it would be conceivable given the health context.

The deconfinement profile: how did you experience this period?

For the past year, every weekend, I have promised to build a barbecue in masonry: I finally did it. I also wanted, since a lease, to do lessons with my son around a vegetable garden, that’s it, I did it. We already see lettuces, leeks, tomatoes, melons growing! We stored each room with us, the garage, sorted the clothes…: the house is perfect, Stéphane Plaza can drop by to put it on sale (laughs)!
